Last month, I went to Bali with my ex-college mates after planning it for months. I had a thing with planning travelling schedule and couldn't help myself to always check for places to go and revised and revised the schedule.

So we spent like 6 days there from Ubud for the first day, next we went to Nusa penida by boat, on our 3rd day we spent the day around the South of Bali, the next 2 days we went cafe and bar hopping around Kuta and Seminyak.

I have came to Bali a few times but there's always something new to explore there.

Bali squad

First day, we went straight to Ubud. It was raining till afternoon and it's gloomy all day, we had to cancel our very first destination to Tegalalang rice terrace. I was so bummed cause it's like our highlight in Ubud and we missed it,
After lunch at Babi Guling bu Oka  we went to Ubud Market for some shopping. I've been eyeing for a nice brown rattan bag which have been getting so popular these years, sold everywhere in Bali.

variety of sizes, colors and shapes

Then we continued to Wanagiri Hidden Hill, which was, literally, a tourist spot made for instagrammer. Sadly, when we came it's quite late so it's quite misty and super cold.

The iconic Balinese gate at Handara golf &resort. But if you have time, I suggest you go to Lempuyang Temple, I don't know about the size or height of the gate but you can see Mount Agung closer too from there.

we watched the traditional dance in Uluwatu Temple. The place was packed with people as you can see in the picture. But the show is worthy to see, if you are in Bali.

Another to-go spot, located in Nusa Penida. We took ferry early in the morning from Sanur. There should be a lot of Nusa Penida tour that you can find online. I think there's another departure spot beside Sanur but I'm not sure where.

You have to wear the yellow tie when you arrived in this spot. But only required to be used in this spot .

Just recently opened for public, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.

My another favorite about Bali is the colorful, conceptual and just instragammable cafes and restaurants. Most of the hippest spot are in Seminyak area.

The avocado factory, for all you avocado loversss
Actually I'm not a fan of avocado if it's not mixed with anything, I couldn't stand the smell haha but this place is actually nice. you should try it!

The Parachute. One of the newest spot in town, super pretty and relaxing place and has one of the most delicious pork ribsss in my opinion

Sunset catcher spot. The Lawn Canggu. Enough said.

What's Bali without this iconic gate?

We stayed for 2 days in Cara-Cara Inn , Kuta. Super recommended ! Everything here is very eye catching and just youthful. We rented the floats just to take some pictures lol.

Miss you Bali !

Reset

Last month I went to Tasmania, Launceston city to be exact. We didn't go there for holiday but there's some activity in which we partake and it's located in Grindelwald, a small town just north of Launceston.

We're staying at Aspect Tamar Valley Resort for 2 weeks, the picture was taken from a lookout in the resort. Two weeks may seem like so long, we spent the days here just hang around the main building and our cottage. But for me, I didn't feel bored at all. In fact, two weeks passed by just in a blink and i still craved for more.

Found this beautiful pathway on our way to the city

On our day off we spent it at Launceston's gorge. It's the longest chairlift but not the highest. Even so, it stills scared me and my mom. We didn't dare to move or do anything like taking selfies haha

And have our lunch near the seaport, please ignore the finger in the picture..since i'm just lazy to crop the picture

We stopped for a while at Melbourne for transit from Melb to Malaysia, so we decided to take a stroll for a while in the city.

Before going to Tasmania, I never really know about the place at all. But after spending some days there, I felt so much at ease. The city is very laid back, quiet and not crowded. After 2 weeks spending time there and when I finally go back to a big city (Melb), the difference was quite shocking and it makes me miss the life there. In my case, I just got back from Beijing one week before going to Launceston, so yeah, it's a nice change of pace from all the chaos there.

Holiday trip

Bloggiess, tomorrow i will have my holiday trip to Redang and SG :)
Yeahh,I'm so damn happy today!
Honestly,i didn't hate Medan. But this town is way too boring!
So,Leaving this town for a while means happiness.

anyway,We will definitely go to Universal studio because Dad has bought the ticket :)
First, dad&mom didn't really agree to go to USS
They thought that if we had went to USJ whats the point to go to USS again. There's no much difference
Then,me&bros keep trying to persuade dad and finally dad agree.YAY!
Also, dad is interested in Marina Bay Sands.
There's a possibility that we will go that new place too.
I hope we will :)

I kept talking about SG,didn't I?
well,I guess Redang will be just the same like Bali or Tangalooma.
Oh yeah,we will go to Redang with my parents' friends too.
I hope it will be a fun holiday trip :)

Till here kay
I must wake up at 5 tomorrow *sigh*
Good night and have a nice dream :)

A day at Jenny's home

I spent my holiday at Jenny's home :D
We took lots of photos, mostly with her webcam and cook burgers for ourselves.
We had planned to cook spaghetti instead of hamburger.
But finally,we chose Hamburger.
It took half an hour to finish 4 hamburger.
My burger.
The bread is a little bit burnt :p

Our burger
The meat was cooked by our chef: Jenny&Inneke.
Me&Sherly just standing&watching them.haha...

We also ate chocolate pudding&fried potatoes.
I love the crunchy fried potatoes so much :)
After that,we help Jenny cleaned up her kitchen and her oily floor made by us :p
